The Artraker Biennial Awards and Art of Peace Exhibition is a global event that recognizes art and artists that make critical contributions to peace around the world. This year's awards and exhibition are held in Valletta (Malta), which is the new home of Artraker, and is curated by Fabrizio Mifsud Soler. Artraker are organising the event at Spazju Kreattiv, St James Cavalier and in partnership with British Council Malta who are also celebrating their 80th anniversary this year.  Her Excellency, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, the President of Malta will open the exhibition and present the awards to the winners.

As a Maltese voluntary organization, the Artraker Foundation believes in merging international art and national culture and priorities. The Artraker Biennial Awards winners and runners up are therefore presented alongside works drawn by Maltese artists and art generated by the One in a Million art-impact project, where Maltese schoolchildren prepare artwork that reflects their appreciation of diversity. The core concept of the Art of Peace Exhibition is that of a mosaic; showcasing international and Maltese artists together, alongside children’s art.
